Author Gerard Windsor reviews three books about walking in the Canberra Times Panaroma magazine of 18 July:
Walking away: further travels with a troubadour on the South West Coast Path by Simon Armitage
A philosophy of walking by Frederic Gros
Born to walk: the transformative power of a pedestrian act by Dan Rubinstein

The article on page 15 is titled “Putting your best foot forward” and is available on the Canberra Times website under the heading “The reader’s guide to walking: why we do it and what we think about it.”
